"JOHN McCAIN'S ROOMMATE AT THE HANOI HILTON”

Our 85th Annual Republican Event on Friday, Sept. 26, 5:30 P.M., in Cherry Creek, Denver


The Lincoln Club hosted an exciting early evening event: a keynote speech by Colonel Tom Kirk, comrade in arms of our presidential candidate, who spent five years with Senator John McCain at the Hanoi Hilton.

In addition, members and attendees enjoyed the following:  Auction of valuable items, including a painting by Jack B. Weil and a valuable Kashan Persian carpet with Auctioneer, Jake Jabs. Introduction of 2008 Republican candidates.  Presentation of first Lincoln Club Jack B. Weil Memorial Republican Service Award to Lincoln Club Honorary Boardmember, Senator Hank Brown.

Introduction of our Keynote Speaker Colonel Tom Kirk by State Chairman Dick Wadhams. Speech and reminiscences of John McCain by Keynote Speaker Colonel Tom Kirk, USAF (Retired).

At 7:00 o’clock, all watched the first live Presidential Debate on TV.
