Lincoln Club members and friends,
We are very pleased to advise you that we have made our distributions in support of candidates, as listed below. Your membership fees, your support of our events and your direct contributions to the Lincoln Club Political Committee and/or Small Donor Committee enable this support of candidates.
We have exceptional Republican candidates running for office this year! And this is the year for Republicans to win!
Our goal in selecting candidates was simple: to support fiscally conservative Republican candidates in close races where our contribution could make a difference. Since we need just 4 Senate seats and 6 House seats to give us back control of the Colorado General Assembly, we were focused on those races which can achieve that majority.
Our Political Committee is chaired by Bill Imig, and includes Sandy Adams, Alex Hornaday, Ramey Johnson, Amanda Mountjoy, Karen Schneider and John Zakhem. The recommendations are submitted to and approved by the full Board of Directors.
And we are now starting to build our funds in preparation for 2012! You can contribute by making a check payable to the Lincoln Club of Colorado Political Committee and mailing to PO Box 100576, Denver, Colorado 80250-0576.
Note: by law, your individual contribution to our Political Committee may not exceed $525 each two year election cycle.
